Insulin is required to keep your blood sugar from rising too quickly. It helps us take in glucose from our blood and store it for later.

When fasting clean, insulin drops. But until being fat adapted, it may lead to brain fog, tiredness, and even hunger pains. Day 9 covers fat adaptation, but I'll read that today along with the intro to Fast Feast Repeat. Once the body is fully fat adapted, meaning that it uses fat stores for fuel rather than a constant source of glucose from eating constantly, the body will aim for consuming fat stores more consistently.
